Video Mail User Guide
Video Mail Features
Now Video mail allows you to use your webcam to record a video for up to 45 seconds, and attach a media file to it. But, if you don't have a webcam, you can still send a personalized message! The Share side of Video Mail gives you access to animated greeting cards or homemade media files.
In order for your recipient to play the Video Mails you send, they must have Windows Media Player installed on their computer. This program is a standard application in Windows, however if your recipient does not have it, direct them to: www.microsoft.com.
To play the animated greeting cards from the Share application, the user will need to have Macromedia Flash 7.0 or above. If it it not already on their computer, the recipient will be prompted to download it when they play your greeting card. For more information on Macromedia Flash, click here.
The Video Mails you send will be available to you and your receipients for 30 days. Each account will have 30 MB of storage. If you run out of space before the e-mails expire at the end of the 30 day time period, you will receive an error message. (See Reaching Your Storage Quota)
